sorry it's been so long

Sorry, it's been so long, we don't have highspeed internet at our new place. I have to get my highspeed when I can and that's not very often. Here are the kids on the way to Steamboat on Sunday the 21st. We stopped at target and they all got new sunglasses.
Here are pics of the kids with one of Santa's helpers at a party on the 20th.

Go Mal Go

Mal likes to run, she almost can't walk, skipping is about as slow as she can go. The other night while Jer was mowing the kids went outside to play. When I looked out to check on them I couldn't help but get an mpeg of my crazy little Mal. Obviously she dresses herself, but it's extra funny when she notices that I'm there with the Camera!!!

Ginny's Favorite Song

So, we were in the car yesterday and Ginny was singing her song and I realized that I had the camera. Sorry that you are looking out of the car window, but really it's more to hear her singing!!! Enjoy.

Update

I tried to get pic published today, and it doesn't seem to be working. But here's the update. Cowboy has started Kindergarten and is doing very well. We really like his teacher and he is making a bunch of new friends. Mal will start Pre-school at the Y this Wednesday and is really excited. Ginny thinks that the daycare at the Y is her school, and she goes everyday!! I quit the sports program at the Y so that I would be at home with the family more, and am working there in the Daycare on Friday mornings only, unless they call and need a sub somewhere else. This should fit into the family schedule better. BJ is enjoying the tractor when he's at the house and having a nice big garage - which is nearly organized. We still have 2 houses!!!

The Cast comes off

We went to Ginny's Dr. today because I was concered about sand in her cast (don't ask), so the cast chick agreed that we should take the cast off and put a new one on so that it didn't irritate her skin. Well, to late, she had lots of little red spots and one that was more like a blister already, so she went and got the doc, who ordered x-rays. The x-rays came back good. Obviously he said that we needed to be carefull and that the big kids were not to wrestle with her and no jumping on the couch or beds. He also said that it would take her a couple of days to get up and walking because she would be weak. I didn't take the time to explain to him that we have no room for weakness here...

Update on the new house

Cowboy asked if he could paint one of the walls in his room, it's his room, why not? So here he is personalizing his space - he has his name, a few jelly fish and picture of himself with 2 party hats on and he's working on the fireworks in this pic.

Here he is showing off his work to Mal and Daya.

These are pics of the "bubbles" on the walls in the girls rooms. In this one you can see the darker pink wall on the right and the lighter pink on the left. Here is Jer sitting there while Dan puts the floor in our bedroom!!!

Boogie got her new cast yesterday. It took her a minute for her to get used to her knee being able to bend again, but then she was off like a shot!

Cali trip

Ouch

I slipped while going down the stairs and Sue's house; while holding Ginny. In my efforts to not conk her head, her leg got caught between me, the bannister, and the floor. Anyway, both of her lower leg bones are broken. Here are the pics...

Waiting for Xrays

Here she has her splint on waiting for her cast.

In the casting room

Getting the cast (not so fun)

On the airplane with her new fashion cast heading back to CO.

She is doing really well. She calls her cast her "color sockie" and now that her leg is not so tender she is actually scooting along pretty well. We are talking to a friend of ours tonight that is a bone specialist, he will review her x-rays and give us his take on how long she needs the cast and when we will have new x-rays taken, blah blah blah...I'll keep ya'll posted.

Cowboy's Graduation

Cowboy Graduated from Pre-Kindergarten today. As they went across the bridge, Miss. Becky sprinkled "Kindergarten Dust" on them and when they came off the bridge on the other side they were kindergarteners. Hard to believe that he's already that big!

Mal's moving up party

Wednesday was Mal's moving up celebration at school. It was really nice, the teachers gave each kid a scrap book of the year and then they had a splash party!
